Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Shaman Nexus ("Nexus"), an AI gateway and account/credit service operated under ShamanTech ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Nexus provides an OpenAI-compatible AI gateway. You can use it two ways: BYOM (your own provider key, used locally, free) and Hosted (you buy Nexus credits and we call the AI provider on your behalf, metering usage against your balance).

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials and API keys secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of the age required by applicable law to enter into a contract.

3. Credits & payment

  • Credits are prepaid service credit for AI usage on Nexus. They are not money, not e-money, not a deposit, and are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash.
  • Hosted usage is metered and charged against your credit balance at the rates shown in the product, which include our service markup.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may be shown in USD and/or THB.
  • We may change pricing and packaging; changes apply to future purchases and usage, not to credits already consumed.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Nexus to: break the law; infringe others' rights; generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content; attempt to bypass metering, rate limits, or security; or resell the service in a way that violates the underlying providers' policies. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or threaten its security.

5. AI output disclaimer

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and how you use it. Nexus is a passthrough to third-party AI models and does not guarantee any particular result.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but provide it "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Hosted inference depends on third-party providers whose availability we do not control.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Termination

You may stop using Nexus at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the service. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
